Beautiful!!! : Counter Height Dining Table and Chairs with Lazy Susan

The set itself is beautiful. Unique look, very functional, and I love the extra height. The price was very good too inspecting it came with a full set of eight chairs so now that it's assembled and we've been using it I am quite happy. But there were a incorporate of things that I would like to submit for observation to hereafter buyers of this set.

1. It's labor intensive. The table is easy adequate to assemble but the eight chairs... What an upper body workout. I did do it myself though.

2. The instructions for the table were missing so I had to form it out on my own based on the photo. Luckily there weren't too many pieces or hardware for it.

3. One of the pre-drilled holes had a nail running through the center of it manufacture me unable to insert into it the indispensable hardware. I assembled it anyway but it bothers me this was not excellent and is the main think I took off a star.

4. Delivery is curbside only, even though it cost over $120. I would think that it should comprise at least bringing it inside the building (which the driver ended up doing anyway.. Being a nice guy... But the delivery enterprise rep i spoke to had a major attitude and insisted this cannot be done.

All this being said, once assembled the set is delightful, functional and I anticipate enjoying it for a long time.

This dining set is very heavy duty for a put together set. I found one very small flaw is all. Putting this together took me and my wife about 2 hours and 20 minutes. But if you just used the supplied allen wrench and a hand screwdriver, it would take 3 to 4 times that. This set to me was a great deal and it would cost hundreds more at the store.

We had been finding at tables similiar to this set at many furniture stores. We found good prices for sets with the four saddle seat stools and square table. So glad I didn't purchase any of those sets and kept finding because I categorically didn't want a square table. Amazon of course did not let me down! I found the perfect set for the area I needed it for. This is a very well designed with the set up being very easy and secure. The packing is done extremly well! This is leading because if you read reviews on furniture that has any kind of weight to it something seems to be broken once it makes it to you. Not with this seller. They had multiple layers of cardboard and strong side and angle supports. I will be going to their jobber page whenever I need anything else.

Good for price, but doesn't hold up well : Homelegance Scottsdale 3-Piece Counter Table and Stools, White

The box to the Homelegance set arrived opened on both ends via Ups and the box was damaged. It looked as though the set had been previously returned and shipped back out to us. Based on the other negative reviews I was expecting something to be wrong but hoped for no issues based on the fact I ordered the table for a home showing to have in the kitchen on quick notice. The table top was damaged as were the legs to the table. I sent in for a replcement so it should be other 2 weeks before getting the new set which hopefully arrives in tact. I would seriously hesistate to order piece furniture online again and having heard other people's experiences I would not order Homelegance. The ability is sub par... This is not a set I would use for daily use or in my kitchen but for a home showing it is convenient if in tact.
